Reproductive Surgery
RADfertility’s physicians specialize in reproductive surgery that allows them to explore the female organs to diagnose and treat problems that could impact your fertility.
Why Reproductive Surgery Could Be the Best Approach for You
When diagnostic testing appears normal and couples are still struggling to get pregnant, oftentimes there are uterine or tubal abnormalities. The experience and expertise of our surgical team provides us the ability to diagnose abnormalities and restore the uterus to good health. Oftentimes the roadblocks to a healthy pregnancy can be repaired by surgery and patients can avoid more aggressive fertility treatments. Interestingly, about 30% of couples are able to get pregnant naturally post surgery.
Indicators of Pelvic Abnormalities
- Severe Pelvic Pain
- Abnormal Bleeding
- Painful Menstrual Cycles
Even patients who aren’t showing any signs of symptoms or pain can still have abnormalities within their uterus. A healthy, normal embryo conceived naturally or by IVF cannot attach and grow properly in the uterus unless these problems are corrected. Common procedures to remedy these issues performed by our own RADfertility physicians include laparoscopic and/or hysteroscopic surgeries.
