Support for Pregnancy and Infant Loss
Because our patient community is filled with extraordinary people doing extraordinary things, members of a local pregnancy loss support group joined together with the mission of helping others going through similar tragedies while also honoring the life of their child. The Delaware Chapter of The TEARS Foundation was born. The TEARS Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that seeks to lift the financial and emotional burden of bereaved families and is committed to helping them honor the life of their child.
ChristianaCare’s Loving Arms Parent Support Group is for families who have experienced a pregnancy loss. The group is facilitated by trained bereavement staff that provide a confidential and safe place for members to ask questions, share thoughts, or just listen. Support group meetings are typically held the third Monday of every month at Christiana Hospital from 6:15 to 7:45 p.m. They are now meeting in a hybrid format, both in person (masked) and via Zoom.
For more information, or a Zoom invite, please contact Melanie Grimes, Senior Social Worker (302) 301-4367 or Melanie.Grimes@ChristianaCare.org
Footsteps for Maddie is a local nonprofit organization raising money and awareness for pregnancy and infant loss resources. They currently support Bayhealth Foundation’s bereavement program that provides training to hospital staff, a rainbow baby program, and the purchase of products for families who lose a child.
Pregnancy After Loss Support (PALS) strives to support women pregnant after a loss and encourage them to choose hope over fear while nurturing grief during a subsequent pregnancy. Pregnancy After Loss Support accomplishes this goal through services for both the mom (and her partner) pregnant again after a loss and the providers who treat her. PALS services include an online magazine, online peer-moderated support groups, local meet-ups, outreach and education through speaking and tabling at professional conferences, resource listings for families and healthcare providers, a newsletter, and an app.
Founded in 2017, The Yellow Cape is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide information, resources, mentors and advocacy to those battling and/or affected by endometriosis. They believe that no one should have to fight endometriosis alone.
PCOS Challenge: The National Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Association raises public awareness about PCOS and helps people with the condition overcome their symptoms and reduce their risk for life-threatening related diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease and cancer.
The organization touches the lives of tens-of-thousands of women with PCOS and their supporters each year through cable television and radio programming, online and offline support groups, grants, research, education, awareness and advocacy initiatives.
Growing Your Family Through Egg Donation
Parents Via Egg Donation (PVED) is a global organization and a wonderful resource reaching all the way to Asia, Africa, Australia, the Middle East, and more. The PVED community touches the lives of over 10,000 intended parents every year and they have a strong future ahead.
LGBTQ+ Family Building
The Men Having Babies organization recognizes that gay men face significant obstacles in their quest for parenting. RADfertility is part of their Gay Parenting Assistance Program (GPAP). GPAP annually provides prospective fathers who cannot afford the expenses involved with parenting through surrogacy with over a million dollars’ worth of cash grants, discounts and free services from more than fifty leading service providers.

Baby Quest Foundation provides financial assistance through fertility grants to those who cannot afford the costs of procedures such as IVF (in vitro fertilization), gestational surrogacy, egg and sperm donation, egg freezing, artificial insemination, and embryo donation.
Facebook Support Group
Inspired by the online support and seeing how many women shared their stories during National Infertility Awareness Week, RADfertility patient, Sondra, wanted to continue the momentum. That is how the Fearless Femmes Facing Fertility Facebook community came about! This online group strives to be a safe place where you can share your struggles, questions, hopeful humor, and enjoy each other’s company. The community also has a calendar with virtual meetup opportunities to discuss and address certain topics while continuing to support one another. It is a special place for those on the road to motherhood.
In 2019, RADfertility patient, Sondra, created the Fearless Femmes Facing Fertility Facebook community where women on the road to motherhood could connect through their struggles, questions and hopeful humor. Inspired by all the wonderful friendships that have formed through this resource, RADfertility patients Caitlin and Sondra launched Fearless Mamas and Mamas-To-Be in 2020 for members of the Fearless Femmes who have achieved pregnancy or motherhood following infertility.

"I feel so lucky to have found RADfertility. I tried two other clinics before I expanded my search and found RADfertility. I drive an hour each way to go to them but I don’t regret a thing. They are so caring and so professional. Every time I message them they respond quickly. Every time I see them they have a friendly smile and warm welcome. They explain everything so well and I never feel lost in the process as I did elsewhere. They also took the time to figure out what was wrong. Other clinics threw up their hands, said 'I don’t know' and pushed me to try IVF."
"Dr. Feinberg and the entire staff at RADfertility are absolutely amazing. The receptionists, coordinators, nurses, and lab staff are compassionate, caring, and straight forward. I’ve had a 12-year infertility journey and I’ve tried other clinics but RADfertility was the only one I felt at ease with. They answered any questions that I had and were there any time I needed them. My coordinator, Amy, was the absolute best and always had my back. Dr. Feinberg’s dedication to his patients is incredible. You are not just a number there, you are a person with individualized needs and care."
"My journey with RADfertility and Dr. McGuirk started when my husband and I were trying to conceive and were having difficulty. We went to RADfertility, where we met Dr. McGuirk. I always say she changed my life and 'fixed' me. Dr. McGuirk is always learning more about endometriosis and how to help her patients. She’s brilliant and truly cares for you! I’m eternally grateful to her and everyone at RADfertility for their unwavering support, love, and care."
"Every step of our journey was tailored to us. We were treated so respectfully. Every detail was clearly explained and we felt so comfortable. Rhonda Wright was a Godsend and inspiring. I highly recommend this place! I cried when my weekly appointments were done and I 'graduated.'"
"The staff and doctors are amazing. It will feel like home every time you walk in the door. They gifted us with our miracle baby and we couldn’t be happier. I will always recommend RADfertility above all others!"
"RADfertility's staff has heart and provided me with exceptional health care. I knew I was in good hands and felt like we were in this together. The doctors and nursing staff always answered all of my questions and provided thorough information about all of my options. I am so fortunate and appreciative of the care that I received at RADfertility. They go above and beyond."
"I cannot begin to explain how wonderful RADfertility is. We were frustrated with trying to start a family and it not working for us. The entire team of doctors and nurses made us feel comfortable and hopeful that we would be parents. We experienced so many ups and downs but we never felt like we were on our IVF journey alone, we had our RADfertility team every step of the way. If you're looking for a supportive team on the IVF journey, look no further. RADfertility is the absolute best."
"Dr. Schillings always kept us informed and never gave up on us. She always explained our options and risks with each procedure. She called us personally when there were any issues or sensitive subjects to cover. Dr. Schillings was the first doctor that had answers for us and wanted to help us have our miracle baby!"
